The true power of the Social Web
Have you been to blog.seesmic.com? There you’ll find a nicely concise and informative video series, by Loic Le Meur, about building your own brand via the social web. There is some good information in there, and I appreciate that Loic steers you towards being authentic rather than using gimmicks.
Ultimately though this is what it got me thinking:
Everyone has something to say that, for...

Be Awesome, Thom Woolley!
thomsbook:
“free your mind and your body will follow”
- I saw this spraypainted on a wall a few days ago…
So as the leaves fall from the trees and we move deeply in Autumn, It’s only now that I really feel confident enough to share my aims and plans for the next year, which have been a year or so in the making. I’m currently leaving behind a career as a London based professional musician with...

RE: Curious Josh on Larry Harvey & Burning dan
“Larry Harvey gave a FANTASTIC speech Wednesday night at USC. So we’re walking out after the show and I overhear him say to his friend Kelly, “Someone gave me a really nice gift, want to see?” Out of his pocket he pulls a Flow Temple button. The symbol of Burning Dan’s desire to spread flow arts to the world. Larry continued, “it’s from the fire spinner...

Ronen's Everything: This is my friend burningdan. →
I just now found this post. Thank you so much for sharing this Ronen!
ronen-v:
I just got a phone call from Rachel telling me she saw online that dan died yesterday.
I don’t really know what to say.
dAN was one of the people I got closest to of anyone in this world.
He was one of the most special people I’ve ever been lucky enough to meet. Playing life like an awesome…

to Burning Dan (RE Zan via Facebook)
Dan this is Zan… I knew you’d recognize my voice, though.
Missing you can’t hold me down in light of some recent understanding. It came to me as I held a private ceremony for you, geographically isolated as I am. I saw you ascending, dematerializing into pure light, lifted on the wings of angels. I saw that in your final moment you realized “oh! there’s still a...

In Loving Memory of My Dear Friend dan.
Quote Teafaerie:
I have very sad news to report: my best friend dan Gordon-Levitt merged with the Force on Sunday night. It was a tragic accident. I was with him when he passed, and he was not in pain or afraid. If you know details, please don’t spread them around on the internet. I’ll post when we get memorial plans sorted.

Cortona Week 25th anniversary... now with more...
Myself and Nick Woolsey of Playpoi.com endured a 10 hour bus ride from Zürich Switzerland to Cortona Italy, with Swiss PhD students… The students weren’t the troublesome part, but the head-colds we had both managed to catch at the Swiss Playpoi retreat weren’t the most fun travel companions. :-(
Luckily, we are both feeling better, and now we get to attend amazing lectures,...

Carnaval Sztuk-Mistrzów: Mission complete!
The 2-day long road trips from Berlin Germany to Lublin Poland and then back were rather interesting. However, sandwiched in between said trips was a great Juggling and Fire Spinning convention: Carnaval Sztuk-Mistrzów.
I taught poi workshops, was one of 3 on a panel of judges for the fire performance competition, had my own spur-of-the-moment fire spin in-between acts at the competition, and...

Post Alle Mitmischen Festival: Berlin to Lublin
Alle Mitmischen was a great little family juggling convention in Leipzig. Workshops turned out rather nicely. After the festival ended, the rain stopped, and the sun came out. I caught a ride from, and had a nice conversation with Tom Wyhnanek (@Fire_Space).
Now I’m chillin’ in Berlin, preparing to make the journey to Lublin Poland.

@tomsphere: Fushigi vs. Contact Juggling? →
The name is unimportant. The way the company pushing fushigi is going about it is lame and ungenuine, but they have brought it to the masses in a bigger way than before. It is the misinformation about the ball being the magical thing which we need to correct. People are less likely to listen to…
